Hunt County RUN FOR THE RED
JULY 5, 2008 AT THE OLD TXDOT BUILDING NEXT TO GEUS ON SH 69 IN GREENVILLE! AN EVENT FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY TO BENEFIT OUR LOCAL FIREFIGHTERS.
 

RUN FOR THE RED is your opportunity to support our local Hunt County Fire Fighter's Association.  Currently our fire departments rely on minimal funding from the County plus donations and other attempts the department’s uses to raise money. Many departments are operating with antiquated equipment and are barely able to cover the monthly cost of fuel and truck maintenance.  But rather than talk about it, there is something we can all do to help! 

 

RUN FOR THE RED means open fire houses, music, vendors, food, fun and a Hunt County Motorcycle rally!  

 

FOR EVERYONE!!!  AT THE TXDOT BUILIDING

  • This event begins at 10 AM and finishes at 2 PM
  • Live music provided by Government Work
  • Fire Fighting equipment and personnel from all over Hunt County
  • Vendors information coming soon
  • Food

 

FOR EVERYONE!!!  THROUGHOUT THE COUNTY

Fire departments will be open in your area with equipment on display, and firefighters to meet!  Here is a list of our Fire Departments and their locations...

 

FOR MOTORCYCLE RIDERS!!!  MOTORCYCLE RALLY

  • This event will start at 8am, with the  last bike out between 11:30 am and 12 noon
  • This road rally will will be a tour of the Hunt County Fire Departments
  • The entry Cost is 25.00 per bike, all monies supporting the HCFFA!
  • Fire equipment from all over the county will be at the site for the kids and others to see
  • Riders need to show up on at the TXDOT building Saturday morning to get started

 

FOR BUSINESS OWNERS!!!  

We are seeking support from many in the community and hope that your business will consider assistance in providing a donation to the Hunt County Firefighters Association.  In exchange for your support, your business will be recognized in the advertisements as a co-sponsor of our Fun Run Event.
